• Image of Pennsylvania Bag Knife with Leather Sheath

This enhanced line of period knife is based on historic examples and styles found throughout the colonial and Fur Trade era. The trade and camp knife is hand-forged from carbon steel, tempered to hold a good edge and finished with a nice, aged patina to give them that truly authentic look and feel! Further, each is fitted with a handle made form a period correct wood that is well documented. Sheaths are made from a higher quality, vegetable tanned leather in a nice, dark brown color and include a belt loop.

The high carbon steel blade shows slight markings from hand forging, and is typical of these tools that were essential for the Pennsylvania Longhunter. The 5" blade with hidden tang has two iron pins securing it to a nicely tapered handle made of genuine Curly Maple. It comes complete with a fitted leather sheath and the overall length is a handy 9".
